| The Mount Rainier Chapter of the Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society invites all fifth and sixth graders to challenge themselves in individual and team math tests. There will be tests in Mental Math, the Math Challenge and Medley Relay. So get some friends together and have some fun with us and maybe even win some prizes. The tests are short answer style. There are NO calculators permitted on any of the tests. |  |
The contests will be held in the newly renovated Mount Rainier High School: 22450 19th Ave S., Des Moines, WA 98198.

Awards will be given to the top individuals and schools in each of three divisions. The BLUE division is for the top schools based on performance in prior years or other contests. The RED division has the schools in the mid-range. The WHITE division will be for the very small schools or math team programs getting established. Registration is $35 per team of up to four students and $10 for an Individual. Coaches, please contact the MRMI chairperson at mrmi@wamath.net or Tom Tosch at (206) 824-8948. Please register with the school name, division, the name of a contact person, and the number of teams that will be attending. Register by February 3rd. |
